Surendra Anandrao Jagtap, Joyappa to his friends, hails from the princely historical town of Gwalior, famous for their rich history. An engineer by education, worked with varied organizations in India and abroad.
Having a knack of travel and seeing new remote places, he has travelled to the most isolated areas of our country enjoying the freedom, peace and solace he always longed for.
With help from dear friend Dr. M.P. Ganesh, the famous Indian hockey icon, he came up with an opportunity to set up his own homestay where one can have the bliss of nature all around far from the frantic city life. Up came up the Coorg Blossom, a home stay away from home in a coffee estate in Srimangala, South Coorg. He has a vision of developing this into a tourist hot spot in Coorg.
