About the Host, ASHOK
I am a metallurgical engineer, passed my M.Tech from IITRoorkee with honours. We started Homestay Haridwar in with approval of Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India. Journeys across the globe gave me insight into International hospitality standards, which we strive to maintain in our Homestay. We like meeting new people , traveling to new places, read books, listen to music and do painting. Our Homestay is adorned with some paintings made by myself. Krishna is an excellent singer and a wonderful cook, which has won her appreciation from our guests all over the world. Both, myself and my wife Krishna are trained in yoga by the Yoga Vedanta Forest Academy of Sri Sivananda Ashram, Rishikesh. We are a spiritual Hindu Brahmin family. We like to give yoga lessons to aspiring guests for which we do not charge any fees, in the true Hindu tradition. Our motto is Atithi Devo Bavah (Guest is divinity personified).
