from Hampi bazaar
Cross the river. Once on Hampi Island walk 100m. up the bank of the river to the main junction on your left.
Go left. After about 800m. of shops and guesthouses you will see the spectacular ruin of an aqueduct on your right.
Just ahead is the main Gungawati Koppal road.

Ask the bus condictor or taxi driver to drop you in sight
of the ruined aqueduct at the junction of Hampi Road and state highway 130 on which you are traveling.

There is a stairway up the bank on one side of the bus stop and a path on the other, up to the village above. Rajj's Homestay is the last house to the north. Look for this sign and just ask.
